Under the lead of President ZOU Yu, “Pilot Project of Training Reform for Primary and Middle School Teachers in Urban and Rural Areas of Chongqing” undertaken by our university and Tongnan Education Commission is one of the pilot projects “Construction of Pilot Sites for National Comprehensive Reform of Urban and Rural Education” of Chongqing Education Commission. After two-year research and practice, the urban and rural teacher training mechanism of “project-driven; cooperation between the university and local departments; combination of entrusted training and temporary posts of teachers” proposed by our university and Tongnan County was approved. The project was assessed and approved on 25 May in Pengshui. Professor ZOU Yu, the doctoral supervisor, delivered a work report as the project leader and answered questions from leaders of Chongqing Education Commission and experts. The management, operation and result of the project were highly appraised by the expert group.
