In the afternoon of 24 March, the “Seminar of Preschool Talent Training Mode Based on University-Kindergarten Cooperation” was held in Meeting Room 609 of the comprehensive building in our university. Leaders of more than twenty kindergartens and heads of nurseries attended the meeting to seek development; kindergarten leaders were from Chongqing Bashu Kindergarten, Jingde Kindergarten, Affiliated Kindergarten of Southwest Hospital and kindergartens in districts and counties including Dianjiang and Tongnan. The meeting was attended by Vice-President CHEN Yongyue of our university, relevant personnel of Chongqing Institute of Education Sciences, relevant leaders of College of Preschool Education of Chongqing University of Education, the head of the teaching and research office, and some teachers.
Vice-President CHEN Yongyue of Chongqing University of Education made an important speech on the topic of the seminar. She said that it’s a joyful and inspiring news for all that numbers of elites and experts in preschool education from far and near in Chongqinggathered and exchanged views closely to conspire the development of preschool education whenCollegeofPreschool Educationwas established and the professional forum was convened. She introduced to attendees the background under which Chongqing University of Education strives to develop the preschool education, ideas of school running, function defining and development orientation; she also encouraged attendees to interact with each other and provide advice on the long-term development of the “university-kindergarten cooperation” preschool talent training mode.
Then, kindergarten leaders and heads of nurseries had a heated discussion on issues such as pre-job training and in-job construction, training and development for teachers in current Chongqing kindergartens; specific classification of training orientation of talents of preschool education major; preschool education, scientific research and academic work of university-kindergarten cooperation. They proposed the training requirements for versatile and hardworking talents of preschool major. They also emphasized the importance of vocational value, professional thought and comprehensive quality. It’s advised to actively explore the development path for core and professional fields like early education and child caring. In addition, attendees reached agreement on the connection and deepening of practical training for preschool education talents, which greatly reinforced and expanded the advance position and strength of Chongqing College of Preschool Education in practical teaching.
