In the morning of 9 January, the launch meeting of the key soft science project of Chongqing Education Commission “Research on Comprehensive Reform of Urban-Rural Education Overall Development of Chongqing” was solemnly held in the auditorium of Chongqing Education Commission. The meeting was attended by GAO Jinjin, Chairman of Education, Science, Culture and Public Health Committee of Chongqing People’s Congress, PENG Zhiyong, Director of projects, heads of relevant departments including Research Office of Chongqing Municipal Party Committee and Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, Chongqing Development and Reform Commission, and Science and Technology Department of Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, the editor-in-chief of Reform, head of organizers of sub-projects and representatives of the project team. The meeting was held by MOU Yanlin, Vice-Director of Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. SONG Naiqing, Vice-President of Southwest University served as the leader of the expert group. Our university was one of the eight bid winners of sub-projects. President ZOU Yu, the leader of the project, Director ZHONG Guoxiang of Scientific Research Office, and project members and representatives attended the meeting.
During the reporting of sub-projects, President ZOU Yu made an opening report on “Research on Effective Mode of Urban and Rural Teachers’ Continuing Education of Chongqing” which is the seventh sub-project undertaken by our university. He briefly introduced the project’s research background and significance, research thought and method, research purpose and content, research plan and result, etc. The project opening materials submitted were carefully prepared and studied by the project team. These materials were comprehensive in demonstration and substantial in content and received full affirmation of the expert group. Meanwhile, experts provided meaningful opinions and suggestions on the further development of the project.
