1.Introduction to the University

Founded in 1954, Chongqing University of Education is a full-time public higher educationinstituteunder the administration of Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. At present, there are 37 undergraduate majors, involving education, literature, science, engineering, management, economics, art and other disciplines.Chongqing University of Education adheres to open education and strives to develop itself into an international education platform.The university has carried out exchanges and cooperation with countries such asthe United States, U.K., Spain, Italy, South Korea, Thailand.

Located in ChongqingNan'an District, the university enjoys advantageous geographic location. Currently, the university has two campuses：Xuefu Avenue campus and Nanshan campus.The International College is located in the beautiful Nanshan campus.The college wholeheartedly provides high-quality educational resources, all-round services and warm environment for everyforeign studentwho comes tostudy inthe university.

2.Introduction to the Programs

Chinese language program and undergraduate program have been provided to foreign students. Either of them can be chosen according to your reality.

2.1 Chinese languageprogram

The program will take one semester or more. After the student completes the courses with required scores, the university will issue a certificate of completion to the student.

2.2 UndergraduateProgram

The standard length of schooling is 4 years,studying undergraduate courses, and the learning method is full-time. After the students have completed the credits, completed the undergraduate thesis, and passed the graduation thesis defense, the college will issue an academic certificate to the students.

3.Admission Requirements

3.1 ChineseLanguageProgram

3.1.1 Foreign students with high school diploma or above and over 18 years old;

3.1.2 Good health, good conduct, abide by the laws and regulations of China and the rules and regulations of Chongqing University of Education, abide by social morality and respect local customs.

3.2 UndergraduateProgram

3.2.1 Foreign students with high school diploma or above and over 18 years old;

3.2.3 HSK4 or above.

5.Application Methods and Documents

Students fill in theApplication Form for Foreign Students of Chongqing University of Education, print and sign it. SendtheApplication Form for Foreign Students of Chongqing University of Educationand other required materials to the mailbox for application.

5.1 ChineseLanguageProgram

The following documentsare required to apply for the program:

5.1.1 Application Form for Foreign Students of Chongqing University of Education(See AttachmentI).

5.1.2 A notarized copy of the highest diploma. If the original is not in Chinese or English, a notarized translation is required.

5.1.3 Photocopy of the front page of the passport valid for one year (the applicant living in China also needs to provide a visa page or residence permit page).

5.1.4 Photocopy of thePhysical Examination Form for Foreigners.The form should be filled in English. Applicants should be examined in strict accordance with the requirements of the Photocopy of thePhysical Examination Form for Foreigners. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. The validity period of the examination results shall be 6 months.

5.1.5 English version of no criminal record certificate (within the last six months).

5.1.6 Family financial guarantee certificate (bank deposit certificate or parents' income certificate, no less than 15,000 yuan).

5.1.7 For the students who have already studied in China, the previous school shall issue the transfer certificate and learning instruction.

2. Once admitted, the student needs to bring the original of all documents when he/she registers.

5.2UndergraduateProgram

5.2.10 Provide photocopy of the articles or papersthey havepublished.

6.Assessment

For the students who have passed the document examination, the college will inform them about the interview and assessment by e-mail. TheWeChatvideo interview method is adopted to focus on students' comprehensive quality and language (Chinese) communication ability.

7.Fees

The university has a special international apartment, equipped with washing machine, air conditioner, water heater, water dispenser and bedding, etc., with complete facilities and quiet environment. Our school strives to provide a safe and comfortable living environment for international students.

8.Scholarship
