E-Commerce Program

CQUE set up the E-Commerce Program in 2000 as one of the first universities to have this program in China. Based in Chongqing, serving Southwest China and facing the whole country, this program aims to enable students to develop in an all-round way with humanistic and social science attainments, to master the knowledge of modern economics and management with good mathematical logic and data analysis ability, e-commerce operation and management ability and innovation and entrepreneurship, to meet the needs of local economic development. Graduates of the program may engage in work related to e-commerce operation and management, e-commerce data analysis, and visual design on major e-commerce platforms and enterprises.


The main courses of the program: Management, Economics, Introduction to E-commerce, Network Marketing, Community Marketing, Visual Design, Web Page Design and Production, Online Store Operation and Management, E-commerce Data Analysis, Cross-border E-commerce, Etc.

The feathers of the training mode: the program is practice-oriented and ability-oriented, adheres to the university-enterprise joint education mechanism, invites mentors from the enterprises, continues to promote the production-education-research cooperation, and school-to-government exchanges, and collaborative development.

Graduates of the program are expected to engage in e-commerce operation, art engineering, whole network marketing, and other related work on the e-commerce platforms, or start their own business in cross-border e-commerce, medical e-commerce, rural e-commerce, childcare e-commerce, community e-commerce, Internet finance, and other industries.
